Roscoe Club

My Gibson Smart Wood has the sprouted frets issue now. I had always kept it in its Levy's gig bag and thought it was okay.
To date, no issues with my basses. I want it keep it that way.
I experienced something since it started getting cold here in the HOT-ATL. I usually keep the house thermostat at 74 and my music room was a consistent 70 degrees. Then Nightwoman said her feet were cold. I knew what the message really was (;)), but I was a little busy, so I just turned up the thermostat by one degree and the music room temp jumped up to 74 degrees!!! :wideyed: So, I closed the floor register in the room. That surprised me!!

Well, just after a few hours, my music room is back at 70 degrees with 39%RH! This unit has an Auto-Off-On based on desired setting, which I have set to 40%RH.
My basses are dancing on the wall! I'll have to see how my respiratory system reacts to this room now.

You wife bought you a sissy humidifier!

I'm back playing with my old band that I traveled and played with for years. We also have our own sound man and he's good at what he does. So last night was my first night playing with them and I took the Koa. I do t think I've ever had better tone. So thick, clear and smooth. Band mates loved it. I know one thing, it's hard to find a bass more fun to play than a Roscoe. Every note has such authority.

Your skin, guitars, & basses will thank you. As a sidebar, I recently read somewhere that Michael Tobias recommended 40-45% min. RH.

Let's be clear, if Nightwoman had purchased the humidifier it would be a purple one. I bought the humidifier with a favorite print of hers to avoid a purple one.
Plus, all of my Roscoe's and other basses have female names, so a sissy humidifier is in order with my basses and Roscoe's.
