Yes its an LG 3006 34 scale. I still prefer the 35 scale low B and my 5's are 35 scale.

I had a long conversation with Keith about 34” and 35” scale and the physics behind sustain, note clarity, etc. I eventually will have him build a 35” 4-string bass - for me personally.
I think everything is a compromise, due to the fact of each string is different. What we get with the 35” scale (my preference) is a bit more tension for the low B. Physics tells us this will give a bit more sustain.
However, the opposite side of the coin is that the EADG will actually sound better on the 34” scale, as they are more optimized.
Oooooo ooooh weee.... I got my All Bart JJ SKB 3005 back today from the spa. This bass is clearly "the one" for me. I bought it new 7 years ago and sold it and Jim graciously let me buy it back. This was the bass that I always regretting letting go. It was perfect in every way and putting my hands back on it tonight reminded me of why I longed to get it back for so long. I won't be taking it on any outdoor gigs so I won't get to use it on a gig until next month but I am already salivating for that night. Now that is love.

I have a video of Keith Horne playing the $4!+ out of that bass. I think it’s too long to post here but it’s stupefying lol. After playing that bass he wanted us to ride down to Roscoe HQ and then he became a Roscoe artist.

After owning so many different Roscoe basses I've just come to the conclusion that my favorite Roscoe bass is the one that I'm playing at the moment. They're just that consistent.
Yep. Any one of mine could be my only bass. Makes it hard to decide which one I want to take to a gig. Unfortunately, the gig sometimes dictates it. But fortunately any bass Is awesome so…I’ll stop now.LOL

As someone who often suffers from “paralysis of analysis”, i would welcome the gig dictating which bass to bring. Having several excellent basses is a blessing and a curse

My choice is dictated by if I am playing for drunks in a dive bar or other situations where I would prefer to bring a less expensive bass. Otherwise, I gonna take good bass. Where I live - that is seldom except rehearsals or working on songs with a guitarist. Mostly, here, the less expensive bass goes.

I feel like my cover band gig dictates a 5 string. We have a few songs that really do benefit from it. I don’t want to change mid-set as I don’t have a really smooth and quick way to do that. My P with flats would be awesome on a few. I’ve tried to do it by set but the songs never seem to fall the right way. The fretted 5 goes Friday.
For my jazz gig on Saturday, it’ll be P w/flats. I actually like it better than my fretless - at least for “standards” gigs. If it were more modern/smooth I’d probably fo fretless 5.
I have 4 nice 5ers at the moment, and a “beater” USA Peavey, which is actually pretty nice for a cheap bass. I remember seeing a band at a bar once and my wife and her friends were dancing by the stage, and a big drunk guy got up on the stage mid-song (by the guitar stands) by them to try and impress them and all the guys in the band look over nervously (thankfully nothing happened, to the women or the guitars
). This is why we can’t have nice things. And why when I bring a nice bass to a jam or something, it’s back in the mono bag when not getting played.
I take the easy road. I just rotate my basses, but leave the fretless at home. 
If a bass is too nice to take out on a gig, then I wouldn’t buy it. I take playable art literally!

Yeah, this has happened more than once when I have played. Coincidently, my “beater” bass is a Peavey USA Cirrus, bought it when they first came out. I actually still love it, so not a bad deal to play. I told myself some years ago I was done playing at those places….however, never say never?

I got my Wenge covers after waiting since Thanksgiving lol. Will look good on the Waterfall Bubinga bass.
So a local guy contacted me to see if I was interested in some JBL E series speakers he had in some old enclosures.
I told him that I didn’t have any interest but I was intrigued by the pics that he sent. They had labels affixed to them stating that the were manufactured by a company called Woodworx lactated in Greensboro NC.
I called Keith and asked him if he had heard of them and he said he remembered them from the 70’s and he actually built or rebuilt a Les Paul for the owner.
I guess that When I noted to the friend my interest in the fact that the cabs were made in Greensboro NC he remembered (and when he sold the speakers and discarded the old cabs, he removed the manufacturer labels and mailed them to me).
No big deal but it’s kind of cool that at least at some time Greensboro NC was home for more than just one musical equipment manufacturer.
