I wasn’t putting anyone against anyone. I was just saying that I think my standard plus basses look, play and sound as good as any custom or signature I’ve played.

If you ever need a sub for an Oregon Wilmette Valley winery, give me a ring! I'm a big pinot noir fan, and would fly out for that.
Have TIJfs on the LG3000 and love them dearly.
But every now and then I get an itch to go roundwounds for the zing. But this bass is set up and playing so perfectly I don't want to mess with it.

Man...would love to have a 33" scale Roscoe 6. Such great basses.

Already dreaming of a matching fretless; wish I could move fast enough to nab some diamondwood.
I've owned roughly 9-10 Roscoe's and all of them was exceptional build and playability. Honestly any of them but 1 could have been a lifetime bass if it wasn't for Gas and continually pushing the bar looking for better lol. There isn't many brands where you will find a 90% or greater rate for exceptional basses. Keith knows what he's doing and whether you get the entry level instrument or the Signature, you will always get the same superior quality.

I know your trying to be funny but everyone with a pulse knows what that means.
I mortgaged my house to get a 6 string set of TIJF for my SKB 3006 but every time I pull the 6 out to possibly put the TIs on I can’t pull the trigger because it sounds so good and plays amazingly with the Fodera nickels that are on it. But I still have my Fretless SKB 5 and my old SR5 with TIs so I am not complaining. But I understand your quandary.
As far as flat wound strings are concerned, I'm a late comer to TI's. But now that I've experienced them, there's none better. I tried Chromes, Sadowsky, Dunlops, maybe some others. There is a beautiful tone and soft, flexable feel that is so unique to these strings. Highly recommended.
I agree. I haven’t tried all the flats, but there certainly is a certain feel and tone associated with these strings. I have a set on my P bass. Very cliche but also very awesome. It’s my “Pino” bass.
So glad to be getting my girlfriend back soon. Thought she had some electric issues going on but it was just dirty pots. This is my true love. Bought from Greg in 2014 and sold to Jim the next year and he was kind enough to sell it back to me this year.
