I took this down because there seems to be 1 on here always adding in smart remarks. Anyways this should ship today after Keith diagnoses the Coil tap issue and figures out the wire he has wrong. I think it turned out great.

I know that you've got custom knobs ready for this one but I've just got to say that IMO those black knobs really look great on that top. They blend nicely with the black hardware, the dark shim in the top and the ebony board. I think that the contrast is perfect with the factory knobs. Really pretty bass.
Love that top, especially on a Century, Scott. Bubinga and 6 strings are probably the best combination, too. That was fast. Less than a week from putting in my order and there is already a body with the top I picked out.
I can’t wait to see the finished bass and it’s been less than a week!
I can only imagine how you feel…
Thus will be a special one

Here's a great comment about evolution of a legacy in the Roscoe shop from Mr. Keith, hopefully related to a short gestation period for your bass:
" I need to figure out how to keep up with Kyle and all of the necks and bodies he's building. He is a bass building beast ! "
Very happy to see and hear about everyone's build progress!
Yes sir and will be a lovely compliment to your old SKB 5.
Yes it will Scott!!!!!
Is there a tonal difference with the diamondwood nut or is it just cosmetic?
Maybe on an open string. . Once your finger touches the string, nut material is irrelevant. . Fancy wood knobs on the other hand are perpetually chock full of superior tone.Is there a tonal difference with the diamondwood nut. . ?

and they will both be in Scott’s deserving hands!
Lol
Dang Jim!
Now that’s a delayed response that took me a while to wrap my head around!
I’m thinking though that you were referencing your former JJ Roscoe (that Scott now owns) and the 6 string fretless that Scott is having built.
…. Am I right?
