I’d like one of those. I had a Lakland 55-02 with that set up and loved it. There’s one on reverb I think. Red satin.

That’s nice. I think that will be my next build. Maybe next year. Gives me time to decide on what kind of top I want and then change my mind a few hundred times.
Not sure if you guys have seen this but it’s one of my favorite videos on YouTube. It’s also a great case for round wounds on a fretless Roscoe.
In general and not particular to Roscoe basses - 0000 steel wool. I tape up the pickups or even take the neck off.
I use this at every string change: Miracle Polishing Cloth | stewmac.com
This works really nice to get a really good shine you can maintain with the miracle cloth:

I know there are a lot of other options and opinions out there, but take a look.

I actually just got that kit in and tried it on the bass that needed it and frets look like new again. Those fret guides are really nice to help keep off the fretboard also.
I use this. Cleans the frets and cleans/conditions the board at the same time!

So ok, I was so intently checking out Scott’s (@armybass ) new bubinga build that I failed to even see the crazy top at the top of the picture.
I somehow came across it just a minute ago. Really a crazy spalted top (although I’m not sure exactly what it is). I really like it though!

Well bass was shipped Friday of last week as. Shows it will finally be to me tomorrow. Kind of crazy considering I’m only 5-6 hours from shop lol. Looking forward to getting it though.
Congrats! I’m sure you must be super excited. I think I’m gonna pick mine up when it’s ready. Roscoe is only three hours away and the upright shop is just around the corner. Whoopee!
