It's a right handed Jimmy Haslip bass. Reverse slant pups, 6 string, LG.
I just picked this up off of Reverb and I gotta say, it's amazing!
It's super easy to dial in a good sound. I think it's going to be an always on pedal for me.
I've had a hard time enjoying a lot of compressor pedals because of how they treat low end, especially on 5 string basses. But this one, with the side chain hpf and the blend knob, treats my fretted well, but my fretless really shines!

I've been on the waiting list for one of those for months. Keep thinking that Empress should get them in stock sooner or later, but maybe I should check out Reverb as you did. I loved the larger Empress compressor but got a Smoothie for the smaller footprint on my board.
Same with me. I was just cruising the 'Verb on Sunday and there were 5 or 6 available for right around list price. So I bought one from the closest person to me.
Just scored a silver one from a guitar store in PA. \m/
I also picked up an Empress Bass Compressor off Reverb recently. Really shines with the Roscoe. That left setting on the eq switch with its hint of harmonic distortion sweetens the sound just right, to my ears. I haven’t had a chance to try it with a band yet, but look forward to doing so.
Mine is always on for sure.
I haven't tried tried the eq to the left yet, but I plan to this week at church and see how it sounds. My Roscoes have plenty of mid in them, but I'm game to try as many seem to love this position.

It was a nice one, but just not for me and you probably wouldn’t have kept it long either! Lol
ABG closed its doors shortly afterwards and sold only via their website that wasn’t up for too long. I never saw that 6’er advertised.
Yes, I ordered a wenge fretboard/wenge wedge neck on a recent custom LG build. Because it is a wedge neck, it still has the maple stringers to help delineate the wedge shape. I think it looks great, feels great, and sounds great, too. I'll try to post pics later on today when I get home from the office.
Look what's back for sale. No affiliation at all, just have a love/hate with this bass. I've tried 3 times to make it work for me and I just can't deal with the C string. I'm not playing any jazz or anything where I solo a lot or need the range. I suppose I could try solo tap[ping and all that but who has time and who wants to listen to solo bass at a coffee shop?

My first Roscoe custom ordered bass. This bass is so beautiful. I wish it worked for me. In hind sight, I wish I would have just made a soap bar or jazz 5 string. The top is as nice as any I have ever seen. Seems like they are asking a bit much but if anyone wants a very beautiful and playable Roscoe 6 string bass...

I'm also a previous owner of this one. I wish I could remember why I sold it...probably to get a 5-string Roscoe instead.
All my new builds would be home, but I wouldn't have a home as my wife would leave me if this bass came back for a 4th time. I wish I could, but really, I just don't think I'm a 6 string player. It's sad as this is an amazing bass in looks and sound.Go for it Steve!

Took the Century 5er out to a local blues jam tonight. It sounded killer, but it is a good sounding room, and a great rig (Bergantino B|amp and NV115 cab). I’m not grooving as hard as I look in the first pic.
Haven’t decided what I’m going to so with this bass yet, was debating selling it but I might go through the electronics roulette and see if I can get it sounding consistently where I want (although I could just always play it in this room through this rig and that’d solve that problem
).
Will clean up the “Red Debbil” tomorrow and change the strings, maybe have it ready for next week.

I recently found Bluesville on Sirius and love listening to it!
I say change the preamp of your 5 to a Nordstrand. You’ll love the passive tone control and active/passive features.
As cool as the 6 is you’d regret not having a Roscoe 5.
Yep. I don't know that I'll ever get rid of my Century 5. I really like my Roscoe Classic P and plan to play it a lot more, but if I need to grab one bass to do an unfamiliar gig, or something where I know I'll need to transpose, the Century 5 gets the call.
