Brother Ray, you ALMOST know me too well....
...now, if it was in some way involving BOTH beer and the Saints, you'd have something happening!

15 hops
15 malts
15% ABV
(...and I have 4 bottles of this in my fridge at home right now...very good stuff, tastes GREAT!)

Maybe THAT'S what Jesus turned the water into?!?!

If we keep going this way, I'll end up skipping the beer and going straight for the poitín.
See what you people make me do..... :scowl:
WIKIPEDIA said:The quality of poitín was highly variable, depending on the skill of the distiller and the quality of his equipment. If poorly produced, it can contain dangerous amounts of methanol and can blind or kill. In 2007, samples were found to contain chicken droppings.

Leave it to the Irishman to wanna drink Chicken Poop!
God Bless, Ray

I am not a big porter or stout guy, but I will try this if I come across it in my travels. I tend to support NYC/NYS brewers. Ommegang, Ithaca, Brooklyn, Sixpoint all make delicious stuff. Tell you what Gard, if I'm happy with the care package you guys send me in a few weeks, I'll send you some of my "little friends". Show you how we do things in New Yawk!![]()

That said, any Irishman worth his salt will be able to find the proper quality stuff.![]()

I bet you could smell it like a bloodhound
God Bless, Ray
Brooklyn has one of my all-time favorites:

Fabulous beer!
I'm pretty fond of the Ommegang stuff I've had as well.
Is this turning into a beer pictures thread? I can dig that for sure. I have a bunch of Trappist ale in my cellar. Actually 5 of the 7 official Trappist breweries are represented, as well as some non-Trappist beers in that style.
