Yeah, it's tough to pretend it's not there sometimes, but it can be done. Some of these beers taste way better after a year or two to mellow out. I find that especially true of the Rochefort and Koningshoeven Quadrupel.

It's a very fine beer. A very pronounced coffee flavor without the grinds. Their Moose Drool Brown ale is tasty too.Gotta be a Cowboy to get REAL beer.

For the record I have no idea how this tastes, but at 6.2% you won't need to taste much.

I Like Terrapin's stuff, but I didn't realize they made a stout. I'm guessing it's seasonal?I also love stouts and porters - I've really gotten into coffee stouts lately. I LOVE this one:
It's got enough coffee flavor to wake you up!

DAMN those are great pics man! Of course when the subject matter is so exquisite... The guys at Roscoe really killed it on this fretless!!! The craftsmanship and artistry are clearly evident on the build...and the TONE! This beauty is SO well-balanced from the bottom to the top it is crazy. Talk about a fantastic instrument. Ask Pacman...he'll attest.
In fact...I need to stop typing and get back to practicing so I can try to deserve this bass...it will be a lifelong quest and one I will enjoy VERY much.

Over the last few days I've put fresh Lo-Riders and ProCells on/in each bass. Must mean picture time, right?

Fertile Myrtle stands alone. As much as I love all of my Roscoes, this one remains my favorite. In specs and look, it just says, "ROSCOE," to me.

I am really thankful to have all of them. Along with my Rob Allen, I can't imagine playing anything else. I often get drawn into other instruments for their look/sound/etc. but none of them play like a Roscoe
A beast it is for sure. I am still trying to get my hands (and head) around it. I've dabbled before and this one is reminding me that I am not a very competent 6 string player. It's certainly not the bass' fault though! It's a monster tonally and to play.
I am not making any hasty decisions but with a fretless Century 4 on the way I am not sure this one will be with me permanently
