Roscoe Special Order For CliffD

Dum, dah-dah-dah!!! Gard comes through with some progress pics!!

DISCLAIMER - the bass is in pretty rough shape at the moment, there is plenty of carving and sanding left to do. So that's not finish in the pics, it's just some solvent that Gard wiped on the raw wood to make it look quasi-finished. Never the less, we hope this scratches Cliff's itch!

And as a bonus, there's this. Often times, when a bass has a "back" like this one does, there just happens to be a thin piece of wood left over. Let's see, what could we do with that?

How 'bout a Koa topped Century Standard Plus 5-String? :bassist:

Your bass will pretty up just like this one with some sanding and finish, Cliff! It is, after all, the same board.

Wow! A double wammy!!!

Shouldn't be hard to find an owner for that CS!;)

Goofy question guys but on the CS Plus having the "arm bout" exposed (body wood), is that due to the thickness of the top, or is it just a design distinction?

That's an exquisite pair of basses to say the least. Congrats Cliff!

God Bless, Ray

A little bit of both.

Because of the thin top, they decided to carve the basses in a more Fender-ish fashion, tighter roundover, and the arm bout, for this exact effect.

*yawn* For now.

Waiting for Gard to beg. I mean, REALLY BEG. . . for the next PD-3005 order.

:ninja:

Yawn? :spit:

It's put up or shut up time now PD.:smug:

Unless the great and powerful Poachie has had his stones "poached".:ninja::hiding:

Cliff's got an awesome Roscoe that'll sho' be hard to beat.

You can't call your Roscoe brethren out like that:eyebrow: Play your hand or forever be banished to the penny ante table .

God Bless, Ray

No, it's not like that. You've got the wrong idea. I'm not taking anything away from Cliff's bass.

Yes, he does have some mighty fine POACHbait over there. There's no denying it. He has certainly created a top notch instrument. :help:

Patience, grasshopper. You will all soon see what the POACHER is hot on the trail for. . . :ninja:

Penny table? Not with Roscoe #5 in the works. And the other 4 aren't basic Roscoes either.

:hmm: Gard might beg for a Saints victory in the Superbowl.....probably nothing else though!:)

He'll beg. Oh, yes. . . Gard will beg. ;)

Me? I'll beg :)

Exceptional. I LOVE it when a dealer is hungry like this. :smug:

Naw man, I'm just busting your stones :D. I figgered If I called ya to "man up" we might get a sneek peek into that "evil geenious" mind of yours.;)

Wasn't at all trying to rile you, apologies if I did.

:D
