Oooh... I've listened to it a few times now, and I've just clicked that there's a fairly intensive instrumental break featuring just bass, drums and guitar. No walls of overdubs, just... the trio. That doesn't happen very often these days.

Yeah Ged said they went back and listened to S&A and while they love the album they wouldn't have done a lot of the overdubs. They wanted to not do it as much this time around.

I'm likin' it so far.... to be honest I was skeptical that they could write a cohesive 7 1/2 minute tune at this stage, but they've manage to pull it off... and how.

Great song... a lot of really cool twists. And yeah, Ged's tone is definitely warmer than the last couple records.

I know this much: At this stage of the game, anything is better than nothing, and anything worth a second listen is even better still.

That being said, I think I'll listen to "Headlong Flight" one more time.
