Word, thanks! It be 250k then. Going to put 500k in the ibanez since I want vol and tone but sounds darn good straight to the jack. Just peaked my interest to see if the dimarzio would bright up a bit with 500k pots.

Combo, slightly louder then bedroom/living room level I imagine, enough to keep up with a 1x12 75 watt spider 3 amp, and this is not to be used for gigging in any way. Prolly in the 50w range and able to handle a low B "ok". Also on the cheap.

75 watt tube guitar amp can get a little loud if pushed... I'd think you need a 212 or a high end 115 combo. Or maybe one of those baby SVT rigs?

I'd never even heard of an Acoustic 470 head, and i thought i knew my old Acoustic heads pretty well. Even the Acoustic Wiki seems pretty confused about it.

Yeah finding very little about it.

No, you're not crazy. It's a good deal. You could keep both rigs and have a wall of Acoustic or sell the one you don't like to offset the cost of the other one. If it was local to me (and I had the cash), I'd be all over that.

The spider is solid state and this would be sans drummer jamming. Mostly used for writing riffs and arranging songs in a more controlled environment without loud amps and drums. Remembered the Gallien Krueger backline 110 would suit the situation nicely, but finding one and priced right will be a challenge.

Looks like those old silvertone or magnatone amps. Sears-Roebuck special POS solid state amps. Probably worth more like $20 than $200. Avoid at all costs.

That dude can really sing. I just wish they could get some better songs for him. The more soul sounding songs all sound like bad knock-offs, the more rocking ones are kind of embarrassing, and and that hit ballad is sappy as it gets. The dude has one of the most incredible voices in a long time, I just wish there was some sort of content in his songs.

Actually it appears to be a Teneyck, but from the couple things I have found they are not particularly good amps. Maybe a step above Silvertone but just a tiny step. Probably not worth anywhere near that much.
