Really well actually. There were a few Clutch shirts in the crowd and one guy told us how he really dug how we sounded like Mastodon with a bunch of other stuff mixed in.
The wife recorded us playing a new song on the go pro, we'll see how it turned out.

Laz was that your first use of the go pro? I remember you won it and weren't sure if you'd use it.
Yeah, first time use. Video came out pretty good. Haven't decided if I'll upload it yet since it's a new song we haven't recorded yet. The wife is a really good photographer so she's been messing with it lately.
Finally did the final sanding and slapped the first coat of tru oil on the bass body. I was going to mix some blue artist oil in with tru oil but tore the house apart looking for it and couldn't find it, so looked at that as something telling me to just go natural finish. Anyway here is a quick pic right after I got the first coat on. Really happy with how dark it made the alder come out.
So my band finally has a Bandcamp now that our drummer is no longer with us. We need to find a new drummer and we are going to keep truckin.
So this is just two songs we recorded in my basement as a demo. Pretty rough and not our best songs, but the two that were the easiest to pull off as most of the other songs have much trickier parts and solos. Also, not our doomiest songs.

Nice thrift store, and I guess I'm not the only one with that Melvin's two disc set, I'd yet to see another one.
This is the second time i bought that singles collection. Had it years ago but it was stolen. Nice to have it back again

I love the version of queen on there, and I'm wearing a germs shirt, so also got to mention the awesome lexicon devil cover.
**** yeah, that germs cover is kick ass. Have you read the book Lexicon Devil? It's one of those oral history books, but it's all about the germs. Really, really Damn good.
There's only so many times I can say I CANT WAIT FOR MY VULCAN!!! Sad news it'll probably not get here before I leave for family weekend vacation in Vegas.
Definitely gonna preorder a DA120 when it comes up.
