Sadowsky Content: what is THIS?? :-D

Sadowsky r kewl becuz lotz of famus bass playerz use them.
And Sadowsky has a "y" like "your mama" and not an "i" like "idiot".

I got Sadowsky guitarz and bassez becus I can be part of the tribe and post here and get street cred.
I wish Sadowsky made pointy basses like BC Rich cuz that would be the shizzle for my goat-slayin' grindcore
band. But 4 now I'll keep going with Sadowsky ol' skool style coolness. Some of the wood fancy top ones
are ballin'. I got more friends and more 'tang since I started playin' them.

Click on my profile by my avatar to be my friend too.

.
Okay, I understood all of that except for the "'tang" bit. And I really thought I was "hip" and "gangsta" enough. :crying:

Fenders were the only respectable basses in the 60's.
Fenders were crap from the late 60s on until the custom shop came about. (Fender Japan are good value in the $600-$800 range tho').
Sadowskys started out as top of the range and stayed there.
That's how I see it.

Use cars as an analogy - Fender = Ford, Sad = BMW
They're both cars and they both get you from A to B.

I don't agree with this at all. You can find great playing and sounding Fender Basses throughout the 70's, 80's, and 90's. To say that everything from the late 60's to the emergance of the Custom Shop is "crap", is just not true...

hehe, I was just waiting for this picture!!

Does Sadowsky make straight-up Metro P basses with the P bass neck or just the hybrid ones with the Jazz neck? I'd love to get a P in Seafoam/Surf green with a maple board and a pearl guard. I didn't even think they made Metros in Sonic Blue until I saw your bass (which is killer by the way!).

no, metro doesn't offer a plain P, only the hybrid model WITHOUT J-Pickup, and there aren't that much color options (natural, bursts, candy apple red, black, corsica blue, lake placid blue, sonic blue, oly white, and transp. red white and blue)
