sounds killer. but dang, didnt know roge was using redwood, too. can anyone else imagine a redwood top on a modern 5 w/ an ebony board?! :eek: :D

I sent Roger two redwood billets a loooong time ago. Since then a few redwood guitars popped up on his site last month.
I think a redwood M5 would kill and I thought about getting a matching Modern in redwood but then again, variety is the spice of life so my Modern is a '59 burst.

I know I'm pushing the lattitude here with a guitar but it is a Sadowsky and who knows, maybe this will prompt Roger to make or someone to order a redwood topped Sadowsky bass. My next instrument in this thread will be a bass. I promise.

Blue stain on spalted maple looks amazing. I also drool over the the '59 bursts on spalt.

The blue one is amazing, but has a weird PU position for a 24-5 IMHO. I like this one better:

Seems to have the standard 24-5 PU placement, and look at the weight! WOW! That's what my rupture of the acromio-clavicular joint needs! :hyper:
