Just saw Aerosmith with Tom Hamilton playing something like this:

He played also a Modern 24-5 and a Vintage 4 string jazz bass very similar to mine... But the bass on the link above killed all the others in terms of tone. Simply awesome.

Yeah, specially in Jones Beach, really difficult for someone to nail such a good bass tone there.
I saw him using at least 3 different Sadowskys, but this crazy P sounded the best by far.
I saw Mr. Hamilton 3 years ago and that was one of three basses used and it sounded great. The other was a regular
Sadowsky Modern 5 tobacco(59)burst and the third was Parker Fly bass.

My God, there are some beautiful instruments here. I love 'em all, but that Blue Bora Burst, that red flame maple and the black Modern with the maple fretboard...I'm melting. More, please.
