Help me choose a color for a Sadowsky Metro

I like natural ash, no pickguard. Simple, yet sexy. Show off that ash.

To me, a Jazz needs a pickguard. It's just part of the look so I would say sunburst with white first and natural with black second. Both are really nice though.

When I first saw this poll I thought "What the heck?? No tortoise??" I started to just blow it off but then I clicked on the responses link to see what others had to say and saw the attached pics.

Damn, that natural w/black pickguard just beckoned me over and then gently whispered into my ear..."Pick me and I'll make you feel like a real man!!!"

So, with my heart still pounding, I have to pick the natural w/black.

She kind of reminds me of a hot blonde in her little black dress.

Sheesh..I need a girlfreind.

After looking at the pictures I couldn't really pick a favorite, right now the poll is running three 10's and one 9 which is about right.

I lean towards a pickguard simply because if you're going for a vintage vibe it completes it.

I personally wouldn't choose sunburst on a jazz like this, so many cheaper jazzes are sunburst. I think unless the bass has something unique lookswise(like block inlays or something)that the sunburst just makes it blend in too much.

I like the natural with no pickguard design, but ash doesn't look good as a top IMO. I like darker tops.
