Yes, that's an option. I would've been fine with just a regular vol blend and passive tone.A drop-in onboard preamp with VTC is an inexpensive upgrade available at a number of dealers.

Same function as original Sadowsky pre w/out the VTC. All that said, I haven't played an MIC yet, but would likely switch to one with VTC since I use that the most.Really don't care about the Logo, but I'd have to upgrade the preamp to get a passive tone control. The preamp in these Basses are boost only.
Agreed and the setup.A LOT of the Sadowsky charm is that preamp.
What will the preamp on the Warwick Sadowskys be? Is it the regular Sadowsky preamp without the vtc?
We offer a complete preamp assembly with VTC, or just a VTC retrofit kit.A drop-in 3 or 4 knob onboard preamp with or without VTC is an inexpensive upgrade available at a number of dealers.
Hello guys!
I have read this thread and a lot of information online. I am really tempted to get a 4 string version of the hybrid model. Has the noise problem been solved?
Any news?
Doc, that is nice! Can wait to hear your impressions. I’m sure you’ll post a vid. Enjoy it.
I feel ya Doc! I would like to have a fretless, but I would not be bold enough to get one without lines. I would get one with lines and would have no shame, LOL!
Definitely. I bought two JJ's after having one at home for reviewing for the Dutch bass magazine. I originally only had the five string, and then ordered a 4 with the exact same specs (but it sounded quite different). I didn't use the 4 enough so sold that one and put some Aguilar pickups in the fiver. Absolutely killer bass. No issues with noise or setup whatsoever.Hello guys!
