Sadowsky MetroExpress 21 (2020)

Yes, that's an option. I would've been fine with just a regular vol blend and passive tone.

Yes. I edited before your response. A 3-knob control plate is available too. I found the 3-knob, and 4-knob with VTC. Thomann, Bass Gear and Fret Nation are a few sources. I do not know if installing one it will void the warranty.

This should finally be headed my way this time next week. I am looking forward to having a nice fretless five again.

Doc, that is nice! Can wait to hear your impressions. I’m sure you’ll post a vid. Enjoy it.

I will see what my intonation is like when I get it. It is unlined and I am not going put a bunch of cheat lines on it with a Sharpie like I did on my Glarry, but as someone else said, the dots are probably in the right place on this bass!:D

Hello guys!

I have read this thread and a lot of information online. I am really tempted to get a 4 string version of the hybrid model. Has the noise problem been solved?
Definitely. I bought two JJ's after having one at home for reviewing for the Dutch bass magazine. I originally only had the five string, and then ordered a 4 with the exact same specs (but it sounded quite different). I didn't use the 4 enough so sold that one and put some Aguilar pickups in the fiver. Absolutely killer bass. No issues with noise or setup whatsoever.
