I just got my NYC Sadowsky a couple of months ago. I've been playing a long time, own 3 other basses, 2 of them excellent, but I get so much more pleasure out of playing the Sadowsky that I can't imagine selling it. Since you're thinking about selling yours you're apparently not as attached, so I guess if it doesn't matter that much go ahead. I've had serious fun for decades without a Sadowsky, but it's been a big step up for me.

I won't deny that it is by far the best bass that I have ever owned and played, but at this point, bills and life are more important than owning a $2000 bass.

It is a complete joy to play. It looks, sounds and plays so beautifully.
