Sadowsky's amp!!!!!! ?????

I like the fact that there's a "bottom" knob. The only thing cooler than that would be labeling it "booty"

That would increase the sexiness factor by at lest 10. Dang, I want one now, but Id pretty much have to trade even for my car, and Im not ready to do that...yet. That thing screams of having otherworldly tone IMO.

I dont know about the cab being basically a Berg with Sadowsky on the front. I dont know why you would buy that one, because Im quite sure that the "S" name on it is gonna push the price way up. Im a little confused on that one. Anyone wanna shed some light? Possibly different drivers, or something of that nature, making it a totally different cabinet?

Yea i can't bring myself to believe ol' Rogey S. would slap his name on one of Jim's cabs and leave it at that...there has to be SOMETHING that makes it different

if anything, i'm REALLY excited to try this amp, only cause his onboard pre's are by far the most musical, and to have that in an amp is fantastic.

but, i'm still waiting for that horribly shelved preamp.

Who makes the amp? Did Sadowsky have any part in the design?

I did play a DB750 and that is my dream amp for sure. I couldn't imagine a better amp than that. This Sadowsky amp would have to be pretty killer to justify the $. The Aguilar is definately worth the $2000+ price tag it has though.

I believe that amp was a prototype made in Japan. Could be wrong. Maybe Roger will jump in and set us all straight.

Never Mind. I just went to the website & it's 18 kg which is about 40 lbs. I like the bottom & the bass knob concept.

Here's a side shot. It makes me wonder how well it will fit in a rack. I had thought that the face plate looked like it was 19" wide, but I suppose it's a little less than that, with room for rack ears (I hope).

And of course, Jim Bergantino makes this cab for Sadowsky. I wasn't sure if he was using the same drivers as in his HT210S, but it appears that the power handling (500w), at least, is the same. Seeing as this cab is offered for the Japanese market only, it makes sense. Jim sells some cabs in a market where I do not believe he is represented, and Roger gets a ready-to-go, killer cab to sell with his amp.

Those tiny EL34's look funny in the 6550/KT88-size retainers.

The Amplimo toroidal transformers seen in the SA200 are quite expensive.
