Not sure about the Homer Simpson impression but if this thing sounds good I will be begging for a preamp version.

While it is not an "economy" amp, and the price tag will certainly limit it's market base, I would like to point out that it is under $3k. Sure, that's not cheap, but look at the price of a quality, all tube preamp, and a quality, all tube amp, and you may find that the price is not all that out of line.
And if you do find this price to be too high for whatever reason, you can always buy a Traynor YBA200 (which is a very good amp in its price range, and this is not meant as a derogatory comment).

This looks to be the most well thought out amp ever. The eq section looks great as well as every other feature.

Tom,
when you get it, I'd like you try the following experiment - with your right hand lift up your WW Ultra, then with your 2 other hands lift up the SA200 and tell me which is heavier.
