Even when all logic goes against their existence? No fossil record, no recently dead bodies ever recovered, after hundreds of thousands of years of being on the evolutionary time line. So I guess fairies, mermaids, goblins, dragons and unicorns are real as well. There is just as much scientific evidence to support their existence as bigfoots

I could've phrased it in a nicer way. Was just trying to say that to think us humans, in our current state, with our 5 senses, our intelligence, and our free will, are the be-all, end-all, top-of-the-heap is a bit naive, IMO. I don't think it's a stretch to at least be open to the possibility of something existing even if we can't "prove it to ourselves". There certainly may be some level of consciousness...some "6th sense", we have not yet attained.

I absolutely agree, but I doubt it would be found on this planet. To say that we are the most advanced species in an infinite universe would be naive and short sighted, but on this planet it is an undeniable fact.

a little known fact about the USA. our land area has been 100% "Air Surveyed" and approximately 75% surveyed by foot. that leaves an area of 25% of total land mass that has NEVER been survey by foot. the topography is way to rugged to expend the resources toward what the BLM deems un-necessary!

in the mid 1800's the rumore of a black & white bear that is vegetarian was DISMISSED by the science community as folklore by the local peasants. when one was accidentally spotted, it was killed and put on exibit. obviously, a team of "educated" researchers set out in this location to find the bear now dubbed the "Panda".
IT TOOK 60 YEARS TO LOCATE THEM!!!!!!

they couldn't find an animal that sticks out in the wild, moves very slowly, and is very dumb compared to ANY primate!

no organized effort, other than a few small pivately funded groups, is actively searching for BF. there is and has been an effort to dis-credit anything resembling tangible evidence. the skeptics out-number the believer's and that's the way the powers that be want it, IMHO.

it's fine with these creatures that you stay away. people see BF accidentally,.. then they're gone. there is no one with the physical abiltiy to keep pace with an indigenous species who "wants" to avoid contact. they are built to thrive in a dangerous terrain! they are the apex predator in their environment. IMO, they have been here forever,.. long before us. the "COVER-UP" is real. our military/government has knowledge of this creature just as sure as i do. i spent 7 months in the deep forest on my first contact and 6 months the second time. without an over built off-road vehicle and some serious athletic ability, you could never get to place that i spent time during my 6mo stay.

If there's one thing I learned while in the army, it's that whatever you think is our latest, greatest knowledge or technological ability, we are at least three steps beyond that with stuff you don't know about and likely never will.

why did i spend so much time and energy "off the grid"? before prohibition was lifted on the Northern Cali pot growers, we built infrastructure several miles out in that wooded abyss of the Pacific Northwest (to harbour of crops). trucks only took us so far. then it was ATV's. then by foot with hundreds of pounds of materials and supplies. we even rolled a 350 gallon water tank up and down a mountain side. we plumbed 1.5 miles of 5/8" plastic water tubing as well as PVC pipe from a hidden spring to our tank. that water attracted every living thing in the area to our camp! little did we know, there were curious hominids enjoying the same location. occassionally, we needed to restock, but after several grueling trips and several months later, we finally packed our bounty and left. (this spot is fenced in, properly camoflauged, maintained and sanitary)*

IMHO/E,... "simply put,.. we were followed back to our primary camp". no doubt about it,.. BF made there present known only after the sun went down. *of course, we thought it was the "Feds" or some crazy rip-off crew. the end of the encounter was accentuated by "wood on wood" knocks that rung like cannon vollies through the hills and valley's. if i hadn't seen the first one,.. this event would proably have been forgotten.*

no trolling here, but feel free to flame away,.. i just don't care anymore. this thread is going to open some minds to the real possibilites that we not even close to total discovery on this planet. the mountains, jungles, and oceans are just too damn large to totally explore. every generation finds a new species that their fore-fathers had no idea about,... I remember hearing that the California backwoods weed growers would tell tales of bigfoot to scare off campers/hikers from the area back in the day. Not bashing your storey, I just dork out to the myth and love cheesy Sasquatch films, and remember hearing that in a documentary.

There is a flaw in your logic. It is probably true that 25% of this countries terrain has not been fully explored. But for this to be a meaningful argument one would have to assume that that area is the only are that big foot has ever inhabited. Logic would assume this creature would have had its territory greatly reduced as us humans moved in on them, and cleared out entire forests. So you would think that there would be remains found even after the live creatures have moved out of the area.

As someone with family in that area I have to say it's a different world and culture for sure. There is no industry, you're either independently wealthy, working seasonal or odd service type jobs, living in SF 80% of the time for a steady job, or working in the pot industry. Although I'm told that the violent cartels have/had moved in and local people who grow are a vanishing group.

i kept this story between me and my small circle for more than 15yrs. i began to open up about it after seeing these "Finding Bigfoot" shows. although i find the interesting, it's the town hall meetings that gave me the courage speak out amongst the ridicule! i mean, if those people are brave enough to go on camera,.. why not tell my event to anyone who will listen.

Titus,.. the people who really know me absolutely believe me. my family is very religious, as i, and they never questioned my integrity. my friends know that i'm a realist. i tried, as previously stated, to discount my sighting as maybe something else. except,.. nothing else makes any sense!
