Schecter Hellraiser Extreme or Schecter Blackjack ATX...opinions? Seems the main difference, besides looks, is the pickups. Hellraiser has the EMG35TW and the Blackjack has Seymour Duncan Blackouts. Any experience on either of these basses would be helpful. Thanks!

I have Studio 6 string and it is well made and a killer bass for the money!!

The Hellraiser Extreme is a neck through design where the Blackjack has a set neck design. Also the Hellraiser Extreme has 18 volt output with a 3 band EQ where the Blackjack has a 9 volt output and a 2 band EQ. I like that the Hellraiser Extreme comes with the EMG TW pickups giving you the push/pull option on both pickup to run them as single coil or humbuckers.

There are some other minor differences like neck inlays, binding material and such, but I think those are the main ones. I personally own an Hellraiser Extreme-5. It's such a killer bass!!!

I had a Stiletto Extreme 5 bass, sounded and looked amazing, just loved it! Since i have a super low action on all my basses, i try to do the same on this one. The truss rod nut is at the head stock, opposed to a Jazz which is at the bottom of the neck; they sent me the wrench for the truss rod, but neither one of them would fit in the nut, 5/32 and 4 mm sizes. Needless to say i couldnt get the action the way i'm used to have, shipped right back!
