Schecter Owners Club, part 3

Just got back from a local store that had an Omen Extreme in stock. Played it for about an hour and I really like it a lot. I'm really not understanding some of the reviews I've read about it. To my ears it sounded fantastic. Going back tomorrow to 'wheel and deal' on it.
And that vintage sunburst finish looks incredible (at least from pictures online...I haven't seen it in person).

It's great that you got it in your hands. Internet opinions are never a good substitute for judging yourself. One person's metal bass is another's "blues with a new style". It's funny to me that many people judge the apocalypse bass by it's name and peg it as a metal bass, but several of Schecter's endorsers tht play funk seem to love it, and it's gotten popular in that community. Glad it worked out for you.

Got it. Love it.

I like the looks of the Schecter Session Stiletto 4 string. I know the nut width is 1.496 and the neck radius is is 12", but I'm wondering how thick the neck is front to back. I really like a thin neck (referred to as a "thin C" on some other basses) and am hoping the Stiletto's neck isn't too chunky. Anybody know?

Thin C is a good description. Very comfortable.

Someone’s probably mentioned this but the thickness @ 1st Fret is .826” and .905” at the 12th. Schecter just calls this Neck Shape “C” on their website. No mention of thin, but with the neck dimensions it sounds fairly thin.

My Schecter Stiletto Stealth has one of the thin C neck-yes, it does feel thin due to the very flat fretboard.

My dUg Bass has the same specs but, has a 35" Extra Long Scale length. It's so comfortable and fun to play.
This one is willed to my youngest son. Definite keeper.

Hung out with dUg Pinnick for a minute last week after an excessively HOT KX show in Dayton, Oh and he was kind enough to add his signature to my slightly, lol, modded Schecter dUg Pinnick Baron H. He seemed to really like what I had done with it. I guess dUg was saying a prayer for my Bass when my best girlfriend snapped the photo.
