The newer ones have a lighter head-stock, making it more balanced similar to the Thunderbird. I don't like that old-style bridge so I was actually going to get the newer model, and swap it out.Finally got around to signing up as a troll for the last several years~
Here's my Schecter C-4 and Ultra 4 in white. Notice the old-style headstock and bridge compared to the newer ones. The headstock and body is much too big for me to play out live, so it's never left the house or studio.

Well...crap. The bass arrived. Looks great, came with a new,expensive Levy's strap and a nice SKB case. The problem is that the active side doesn't work. Has a new battery in it, checked the charge, tried another battery. Nothing. Passive works.
