I've got a black 004 and a Studio 4 Honey Satin on the way. Once the Studio 4 gets here, I'll get pics up and officially weigh in for a number.
I've been buying, returning, selling, and trading basses for the last 2+ years trying to try as many as possible to come up with what fits into my nitch, and I can honestly say that Schecter has won me over!
Overall, the best, most consistent made bass, as well as a very versatile bass tonewise!

For the knowledgeable Schecter gurus, are most of the Schecters made in Indonesia?

Tmonsterdog, welcome aboard! And the C-4 is definately not a ' low end model '.
I friggin love mine (antique amber). The reason you got such a good deal on it is the same reason I did in 2010. Schecter discontinued that model. All the online stores were dumping them at a great discount. Prob still are if there are any left. SMFR on these was like $799.00 or something. Feel blessed, I do!

Thanks Mogpipe! I've been a rock guitarist for 20+ yrs but recently switched to bass to play with a local popular country rock band. I bought the C4 last year to learn their sets. I've tried way more expensive basses since then but DAYUM I couldn't feel or hear how they were any better than my Schecter. Maybe its just my inexperience as a bassist, if so ignorance is bliss, lol. Thanks for the info! That's just icing on the cake! Explains alot too.

No prob Tmonsterdog. They're great basses, you got a great deal. Yours being the Custom, it has the Diamond bridge I think. My c-4 has the S-tech bridge, otherwise it's the same thing. 'Bout the most 'playable' neck I've ever seen! i love this bass!
