Hey everyone. I'm new to TB but have loved reading all the great posts...especially this thread. I became a Schecter owner this afternoon. The guy in the brown truck brought my Riot 4 just a couple hours ago. It's the Black Cherry neck through with EMG's. I've read that a lot of people don't like the HZ but so far I love everything about this bass. I must get a number. Will try to get a good pic asap. You guys rock!!!

The first bass was a bust. Took it out of the box and the neck pup knob was flat busted! Spun in the plate without changing the volume. The other two were really scratchy, and someone had screwed around with the action a LOT.

I called Schecter and the said it was likely a warehouse repackage and recommended I send it back - which I did. The place was great though (bought it online) and cross-shipped a new one to me which I got today.

Muuuuch better.

Not great pictures but best I could do with my phone.
For some reason, the black cherry color is marked down by $150 at S.D. compared to other colors. It's not B-Stock or a blem. This color would have been my 1st choice anyway.

This is a Stiletto Custom 4 that I got as my first bass. It was a Christmas gift, too It's one of the best basses I've played, not that that's saying a whole lot...

It's not a great picture, but you get the idea. It also features the stuffed penguin that I put on top of my guitar amp. It doesn't feature the massive amounts of cables that are usually there.
