Thats not even the worst wall paper. we have gotten rid of green with daises, one with assorted woodland critters and a few others. the people who owned the house before us had some strange tastes of wallpaper.

As for the collectibles, the mountain dew bottles are mine, but the star wars action figures and everything else in the cabinet has been collected by my father over the years.

Just wanted to share my most recent acquisition. I got it used today and got a great deal! Well, heres a picture of my babies. New one is the Custom 4. If you add the price I paid for both its $400. Great deals for these basses!!

Evening, gents! I was wondering if I could get a number?

Bad pic, but it's the only one I've got at the moment. I'll take some more later. She's a Stiletto Deluxe 5.

I just put EMG 40CS's and a BQC pre in my elite-5. The cs's are def. better than the HZ's IMO, but still not quite what I'm looking for so I think next ones will be 40J's or a P in the neck and a J in the bridge. The BQC with the 3 band instead of the stock 2 is pretty cool but doesn't seem to be as cool as I had hoped. Just put that in a couple days ago so I haven't had time to really tweak it yet but we'll see...

Really? I was looking at something like the 40CS's. My Spector has HZ's and I like them pretty well, but I didn't know how they would do with this bass. And a 3 band EQ would really be nice because I like to boost the mids when I play.

As for putting a P/J combo in...how exactly does that work? I'm new to the "modding guitars" scene, and I know you would rout a bigger hole if going from P/J to soapbars, but the reverse? Do you just get some wood cut to fill it or...?

Well yeah that's one way to do it if you want to refinish the thing, or you could get some pickguard material and cut out a custom shape to cover what you want, or you could just go without if you don't mind it probably looking pretty bad. But I was talking about doing the 40P or 40J in a EMG40 shape. I've also heard people say they like the 40DC, but can't find much feedback on the 40J or P, I guess most people that get a bass w/soapbars are trying to get away from a single coil sound but this is the only bass I'm going to have for a little while so I'm just trying to get my sound out of it. I'm not there yet but the CS's got me closer and I'm going to continue the quest with the Elite. Who knows I might end up switching out almost everything on it as time goes by,I play with a med/heavy touch and raised my height at the bridge yesterday and I'm pretty much maxed out on it and it ain't really that high, so Ill probably end up putting something else on there down the road.
