Double Bass Schertler dyn b and static noise

Hi!
I have a Schertler Dyn B pickup for my bass, and there's been a problem with it: everytime I plug it in to my GK or a PA, through a Fishman preamp or not, I get a horrible static noise. Tested every cable I'm using and they seem ok, so I assume it's the schertler. Do you have any suggestions on how I can clear the sound for good?

Have you tried flipping the phase switch on the connector a few times? Connectors and switches are usually among the prime suspects.
