What's the appeal? Did Famous Guy have such an instrument?

@mambo4 -A sea foam p bass with a white pickguard is perfect for playing Beach Boys songs on a stage by the shore IMO.

Similar family, but not both seafoam green.
But this is where names start to fail.
In a guitar context, seafoam green specifically refers to the color used on the 1956 Buick.

Now, while Pantone has made an editorial decision regarding color naming that is inconsistent with common practice, the idea of have a reference swatch is the way to go.
That’s why I bring a 1956 Buick with me whenever I go to Guitar Center. If I can demonstrate that the label on the guitar is misleading by comparing it to the Buick, then they have to give it to me free.
