Seattle Area GTG part II - AUGUST 7, 2011

Hey guys what amps are going to be showing up? I'm going to bring my fEARful 12/6-12/sub but my amp is soooo underpowered. I looking at picking up either an GK700RB-II or maybe a Carvin BX500 but don't know if I will have it by then. I would be cool to hear some other amp through my cabs. I've been kind of lost tonewise since I sold my RBI-poweramp set up.

If I come I'll bring my quasi-IP amp rack. It makes 1000+ watts at 4 ohms, and one of the DSP settings is optimized for fEARful-ish cabs.

I'll PM you about carpooling once my plans crystallize a bit, thanks.

Hey Guys, So far I'm in for the GTG! I couldn't make the last one in West Seattle.
Anyone want to try out a Streamliner 900? I would love to hear that amp through a fEarful cab! I'll probably bring a Genz Benz NeoX 212T too. Looking forward to it! :)

Just picked up a GK 700RB-II today so that will come along with the rest of the gear. So far sounds pretty good through my fEARful but not really knocking my socks off. Maybe some of you GK guys can show me the best way to dail it in. I've never really played much GK so I'm just playing with knobs and seeing what tones I can get. Looking forward to the GTG. Hopefully they have some dark beer on tap.

Go via hwy 2...it'll be shorter, and a MUCH more beautiful drive:)

I used to ski Stevens when I lived in Everett and I know that route pretty well. ;)

It is definitely a lot prettier and more pleasant driving (especially compared to I-5), but also actually a lot longer (30 to 50 miles) and more time on the road. I may end up playing a gig here Sunday, but otherwise I'm still all in.
