Seattle GTG 12/13/09

bitchin! Sounds like the Seattle contingent needs adult supervision. Not sure where we're going to find that unless Charlie & I start bringing our wives ;~)
given I'm just post flu, had I attended... you guys could be more than h/o ... couldn't have gotten there easily anyway - 84 was shutdown through the Gorge from Saturday afternoon through Sunday about noon ... Ice storm through the Cascade Locks area. Not a good time to be passing through.
I seriously should not have played through that damned B15R of your's at the last one down here... post re-employment I'm going to be a post needy guy ... Did I hear correctly that the head in that is very close too the V4B reissue ?

Yeah the head is AFAIK closest to the V4B.Seriously though, I heard the roads were bad down your way. There will always be a next time.
Would have been fun to check out the Seattle GTG. How many people showed up? Anybody take pics? If you guys do another one in the spring/summer I'll try to make it, the familia and I love visiting Seattle.
Oh, wish I would have seen this thread in time... that's like 2 minutes from my house and my band has been trying to get a gig there - I could have used it as an opportunity to try and meet the owner and work on getting my band in there... Not to mention meeting some great Seattle bass players. Oh well - hope you all had fun. Maybe next time.

It's easy to get in. You're playing for tips because they don't charge a cover at the door, so any decent band can get a gig there, I'll PM you their phone number.
Shoot! I forgot all about that and went to see the Calder exhibit at SAM. Let me know when you guys get together again. BTW of of you Seattlites teach bass?
Wish I could have been there Mike - sounds like a blast. After 17 straight days of gigs for school/church/rock band tonight will be my last one til NYE. Can't complain about too many gigs though...
