I'd heard from one dealer, that they were discontinued.

Every place that I see selling them, says they're out of stock for at least the next 6 months.

I sure hope they'll be available again soon.

That's a drag. It looks like a very cool option.

I totally agree, but if you're seriously considering the Eastwood, you're potentially paying twice the price for the exact same instrument, with a different brand name on it (I've heard they're literally the same product, from the same factory, with the same pickups - but that may just be rumour / speculation).

Yeah I could totally see that. Honestly, the Eastwood is probably on the last of my list. I feel like with this type of bass, with how it’s constructed, you can’t really cheap out on it. At least in my head you can’t

I own the Rumblekat because I'm a huge fan of Allen Woody, 30" isn't really my thang.

Lakland is so nice & very old school woody/thumpy! Honestly, it's very P-bass ish.... if I could only own one of these, it would be the Lakland.

While they're certainly extremely similar, they have at the very least different bridges, knobs, and body shapes:

the only thing that kills me about these basses, is that none of them come in a white.

If you must have an uber-long Gretsch, the G6072 reissue, by no means cheap even used, is much less expensive than a White Falcon. And the larrupin' big vintage Gretsches are even less expensive. Go figure.

I will look into it. The only 34 inch scale semi hollow I would be interested in is the white falcon. I think with this sort of bass I really want the 30 inch scale experience.

I have the Eastwood Classic 4. Nice bass. Plays and sounds great. Using flats - nice old school tone!

Who has experience with a Mensinger Joker? Can be spec’d out at different scale lengths,
30” included.

Have been lusting after one of those for a couple of years, now. If I can scrape the dough together, I'll probably order a custom one.

Looks like someone dropped in Guild BiSonic pickups and a bridge ! I’ve found the Chinese factory pickups work just fine.
