Discontinued years ago. I never had Mike Robinson talk to me that way.

Even a used Gretsch White Falcon will blow out your original budget.
And watch for fakes.
White Falcons are Long Scale.
Model No. 6136LSB
'LS' designates long scale.
There is also the 6136LSB TP which is the Tom Petersen Signature 4 string (not to be confused with his signature 12 string bass).
White Falcons are also Full Hollow Body.
Semi-Hollow Bodied basses are a bit easier to tame feedback.

Like I said, I think I have it whittled down, but who knows what may happen in the next few months.
Reverend Dub King and Lakland Skyline would be my recommendations. I tried out A LOT of 30" basses a few years back, and those two almost got me to go semi-hollow.
JC's are also great, if you are looking for a hollow body that can do everything a p-bass does, but hollow.

I have a P Bass. I’m looking for that unique semi hollow experience, good or bad
The Dub king is cool, but it looks like a Tele. I want that F hole throwback aesthetic, with older toaster/bi-sonic pickup types.
