Damn! Very impressive build. That thing must thrum like the Hammer of Thor. I'm curious, do you get any acoustic volume out of it unplugged? Building a semi-hollow now, hoping I get at least enough to hear it unplugged.

It is loud enough to hear yourself when you play it on the couch. But nowhere near loud enough to project to an audience (this goes for any other semi-hollow bass)

This might be impossible, or at the very least lily-gilding, but I'm dreaming of piezos.

Yeah you really need to amplify any bass guitar.

I tried to build a fully acoustic bass once that would be loud enough to hold up between other acoustic instruments. But I failed miserably
It was a pretty bass though. And it sounded like an upright. But just not as loud.

No, not yet. Not even sure if I'll make one. Because it sounds exactly the same as the previous 34" scale Explorer shaped twelve string basses.
Except that it's a little louder when not amplified.

Beautiful! I love the sound holes -- Simple, elegant, and perfect for the design. I've done two semi-hollows and am working on one more and always struggle with the sound hole design. The classic 17th-century violin throwback look never seems right.
