He's not wrong!

And it's funny to me that the stereotypical bassist is the quiet introverted one of the band, yet bass is the instrument that needs others to play with or it does sound kinda lifeless and empty.

And the irony is not lost on me that in the last 3 bands I've been in... I'm the bassist yet I was the most friendly and outgoing person in the band, always glad-handing with the fans and making my presence known on stage.
