Looks like a CME exclusive. I'm pretty sure its darkened rosewood. Love it.

The fretboards on these two really give them a whole other character, too. I'm lucky I got my honey blonde P bass before I saw that Lakland or I'd have two shell pink basses now.

Have they been released?

Not that I'm a bit preoccupied with all these, but I've already got a photo from that set saved on my phone

Something I like about it is the j style knobs on a p bass. They seem to go nicely with the pearloid pickguard and inlays.

Hmm. Now I'm just waiting for a windfall so I can order!

They show the same picture with the bad string spacing at the bridge. I wonder if the production models will have that feature?

I assume, that it's the only photo from the pre-production model, so, who should have corrected it - photoshop??
We'll have to wait, til the production models arrive.

The much more difficult question is: does the sheer colour justify the purchase??
I have the Bronco in black, I have it in blue and even as Badtz-Maru (my poetic downside) - so why another one in SHP? For SHP I have the Musicmaster...
