Shell Pink Bass Club

The much more difficult question is: does the sheer colour justify the purchase??
I have the Bronco in black, I have it in blue and even as Badtz-Maru (my poetic downside) - so why another one in SHP? For SHP I have the Musicmaster...

Love the polka-dots! Also, you and I may have the only Badtz Marus in Germany.

As far as a 4th Bronco goes, why not? I'm still looking for a 2nd, but want a red one. The pink sure is pretty, though!

I'd like to get one of those pink Broncos that (GC? Sweetwater? I forget.) is putting out. I looked at the site when it was mentioned on TB, but shipping to Germany made it not possible.

Have they been released?

I just now received the shipping notice for the one I ordered.

:-)
The blue was red before, but the owner painted it and tinted the neck. Looks definitely nicer than the usual pale maple... and yes, the red one also was on my agenda, but the blue one hit me in between

Quick mini hijack, what do they call the color of the P bass sitting next to it?

I think it's forgivable! That one's the Honey Blonde variety of the erstwhile 50s Classic line

can't resist: a shell pink and an eggshell coloured bass?

They've got a long... shell life. Call me... Shell Silverstein. Playing the... William Shell Overture

:hyper:

I found an even older show your.... thread, about 2008 iirc. That was the one full of deadlinks.

Now we need a rival Hot Pink Bass Club, I guess.

 Yes, there are several languishing, if not quite dead, "-- pink - bass --" threads (and loads of others) that I routinely bypass on the Clubs INDEX, such as Is there a Hot Neon Pink MIJ bass club - medium scale?, for one. But, if someone posts in one of those oldie-but-goodies I just might find it and add it to the list.

This is super hard to take pictures of but it’s my main squeeze on the bass front, a light shell pink Sadowsky WL.

I have a parchment guard for it and am thinking one day I’ll try tort. But when I took off the original MOTS the bass seemed a little sad. Maybe it missed the sparkle.

Perfection!! Those blocks need a matching pickguard.:p:snaphappy:
The mint guard would match better with plain dot markers. You dressed it up just right.

Man, these are great! So my questions is are there any 34" scales basses in shell pink that are in the $600 or less range? It seems like my only options in that range are both 30" scale (Bronco and Mustang). I really wish Fender would do a special run of the Player Series Jazz Bass in shell pink!

You could build a Warmoth for under $600 methinks, as long as you didn’t go crazy on wood type etc.
