I'll just play it..more bumps to come I'm sure.ouch! But being positive, possibly the first 'blemish' which inspires a mild relic-job?

Buy Sycamore body off eBay!I am dying to remove the finish off of one of my P’s and stain it pink... y’all are horrible influence!!!

The neck hasn't been done to spec, so it's going back to the factory for a second attempt, but still....it exists!!

Oof.. I'm sure I've heard of similar happening with other G&Ls recently. Must be agonising, hopefully they get the new neck to you ASAP.
That's a gorgeous instrument, though! Love the finish.
They produced the instrument quicker than I was expecting in 2020, so I think even once they've learnt how to read a piece of paper, I'll still be getting it in what will feel like a decent time. Also, no harm avoiding international shipping over the holiday season....![]()
Yes, they are just normal dimensions on the RW Flea.Do standard Fender neck plates fit on the Fender Flea bass?
I am thinking of getting one but I’m not a RHCP fan. I really just love the idea of a 61 reissue in shell pink.

I got the paint, I just need to decide if the 4003 or the JMJ is going pink.....
My vote would be the JMJ. I'd love to see that bass in shell pink. Would you plan on doing a relic job or no?
The factory relic is the reason I decided to refinish, I baby my instruments, so having something beat up just doesn't register. The neck on it is actually fine, but the body is overboard.
It's a tough decision, there aren'ttoo manyenough pink Ric's out there....
