Anyone here use this site? I picked up a Squier Jaguar bass as a project. They seem to have a large assortment of things that I find hard to believe that we’re just donated to them. I could see estates and foreclosures supplying the coffers.

There's always a chance you'll find a diamond in the rough, but I imagine the owners of the donated instruments most likely attempted to sell them beforehand unsuccessfully. It would be a bonus if you're handy in repairing instruments. (I am not.)
It's a legit site and interesting stuff does pop up.
Having said that, expect anything and everything bought there to be in need of repair and count your blessing if it's not. Nothing is tested, which is fine since they don't pretend to be a musical instrument retailer to begin with.

I was not aware of that site. Looks like you could put together a drum kit super cheap.

There’s one of these at a local pawn shop for $150. Holy smokes...
Got a Bronco bass for about $60 shipped a few months back. Neck was straight and it was in overall good condition. It's currently in pieces waiting for me to have enough time to mod it.
Edit: it was packed better than many new instruments I've purchased. That will depend on the Goodwill that's selling it.

I checked Goodwill a while back.
Sometimes good starting prices, but anything that looked like it might be worthwhile soon shot up to ebay price territory.
Also, check the shipping.

I keep an eye on it for some non-music related items. The volume of crud can be overwhelming but there are occasional finds if you work at it. Be aware that there are plenty of other people doing exactly the same thing for the sake of their antique stores, flea market stalls and used instruments shops.
I've bought some records and audio components from them via eBay. When there was a problem with one of the eBay listings that I won, they 1)refunded my money 2)found me 3 other listings for the same item.
My father in law bought a DAC from them; when he decided to return it they offered him the choice of returning for a full refund or keeping it and getting a 50% refund (guess what he chose).

I have been out there several times but most of the time there's nothing of interest. I did see a lawsuit Ric copy once but it didn't go cheap.
