Did you give any thought to cutting those plates out of wood similar to what's in the center?

Then, I think there would be bonus points for cutting the plate shapes randomly instead of precisely, again, looking like what's in the center.

On some yes, that was not the motivation on this build,I am a fan of plates that are GRAIN matched. I despise when one cuts it out of a offending chunk of scrap.:hiding:
