Have a Alumitone "P" and "J" in one of my Jaguar SS's. I really like the tone out of them. Nice and clear with great lows.

I have a pair of Alumitone BassBars with a Stellartone. Solid lows & mids wired mine with coil tap definitely worth looking into

You can go from humbucker to single coil by switching which wire goes to ground. Single coil is very jazz like sounding

Sanded out the cavities today and eased the edges after enlarging them slightly in preparation of coats of Tru-Oil build up.

On some yes, that was not the motivation on this build,I am a fan of plates that are GRAIN matched. I despise when one cuts it out of a offending chunk of scrap.
I have a commission build coming up where I will be using the piece removed for the rear cover.
