You’re on a bus because your car died and you’re a long way from home and you’re posting pics on TB. You’re my hero. They should create a new category of trophy points for this kind of behavior. Not mine, but it looks the same. I can't post a pic of mine as I'm on a bus as my car died a long way from home and it's with the mechanic.

I played a 60s H22 for several years. My favorite tone was the very deep thump using flats with the toilet handle engaged.
bunch hereMaybe nobody cares but I built my dream short scale. 28 5/8 scale, walnut body, ebony board, maple neck. Since 28 5/8 scale is too short for even short scale strings I put a tail piece at the far end of the body so medium scale strings are a perfect fit. For what ever reason short scale basses tend to try and be vintage or old school sounding. I wanted a modern tone so it has an EMG HB pickup and the BQC control which has sweepable mids boost or cut. I can make the single bridge pickup sound like a neck pickup or two pickups. Included is a clip of random wankery playing. @Bruce Johnson Is a very talented builder and engineer here on TB. Well known for his Ampeg scroll top reproductions and others. This bass is inspired by the old 60's ampeg shorties but it's nothing like an original.Bruce Johnson? The Beach Boy?
Didn't know that. The other Bruce Johnson has played bass for the Beach Boys forever and took Brian Wilson's place in the live band.@Bruce Johnson Is a very talented builder and engineer here on TB.
