Shorts...

If you wear long shorts and tall boots is it any better? Lol

I was actually pondering this issue before seeing this post, because I have a couple of outdoor shows coming up. One is Friday, when the temperature here is forecasted to be in the high 90s; the next is July 3. Both are at a big VA hospital, midday, under a shade tent. Normally I’m a black jeans or black trousers guy. For occasions like these, though, I usually allow myself the exception of wearing shorts.

But here’s the issue: My old, sun-damaged legs are so dang good looking I’m concerned they will distract from the two gorgeous women singers up front. Please, Bass Intelligentsia, what is the appropriate solution?

Wear black shorts.

Depends on the weather and the gig context.
Hot Texas summer and outdoors festival or the like - Absolutely.
Inside semi-formal or casual Church - maybe, if you wear really nice shorts and a button down collared shirt.
