Should have kept my mouth shut

I did laugh a lot the first time i read it, but actually you got a bad deal there, they take a lot of looking after and although that shouldn't be your job, you can't wash them in water because they have fine hair fibers that trap water then there skin gets moldy, so you have to wash them in volcanic ash, which ATM sounds like nothing special but volcanic ash which your chinchilla will happily get it every for you will damage all your electrical equipment it gets in contact with, including the lovely new amp. just thought i would put it out there.

Easily avoided. My chins cage is right next to the window/ When ever i give mine a dust bath (once a week for about 5 minutes), i cover the side of his cage with towel, and open both windows. I face the outside of the bath house to the widow, and i also put a fan next to it blow toward the window, basically fixes any problem you could have :D:bassist:

Awww. My room mate had 5 Chinchillas. He bought what he thought was 2 females... and woke up one day with three new nekked Chinchillas in his cage.

They were super rad and adorable. He felt like he wasn't giving them the attention they needed though and gave the whole happy family to a lady hip to everything Chinchilla.

I recently purchased a nice SWR rig and told my wife that if she wanted something, I would buy it for her. This was just to keep her from complaining about my costly purchase for self.
Now here is what she wants. A freaking Chinchilla!

You should get her two chinchillas, a male and female. When they start reproducing, make her a fur coat. That should get you another nice piece of gear.

My wife just expects good sex when I buy gear. I guess I'm a lucky guy after all.
