I have rats. I'm on my 6th and 7th. Chinchillas are a better deal, they don't die so soon. My first three rats died young because the food they sell at the pet store is **** and I have to buy some fancy crap online to keep 'em healthy. Harlan Teklad 2014...

So yeah... nice chinchilla. Adorable little guy. I want one. Or rats that live to be 12.

Iyou can't wash them in water because they have fine hair fibers that trap water then there skin gets moldy, so you have to wash them in volcanic ash

I recently purchased a nice SWR rig and told my wife that if she wanted something, I would buy it for her. This was just to keep her from complaining about my costly purchase for self.
Now here is what she wants. A freaking Chinchilla! OMG
