Hi Guys,
Happy weekend to you all.
I recently received a modified 69 Fender Jazz from the local bass store (Bangkok). The bass is loaded with Sadowsky electronic such as hum-cancelling pups, 2 band preamp with vintage/push-pull switch but for the rest is all original. I am not certain if the pups are humC or single coil but it has 3 cables ran series. I am not a fan of a "modified" axes and I love the vintage jazz sound anyway so it became a doubt. The reason I had it because of the guitar neck since it is one of the very best 60s I have found.
I haven't really spent much time on this bass as is since I have little confidence with the electronic in it but I know Sadowsky bass is a topnotch young generation jazz bass too so wanted to check with you guys before I do anything with the bass.
I don't have any close generation original Fender electronic with me to try so I would need to reaserch on this issue anyhow.
Thanks in advance for your input.
