Show me your compact pedalboard setup

Scribble strips can be customized. I just got this sexy pig dialed in for a Rage tribute tomorrow night. Thumbs up to the clear Barefoot buttons. And, yes...5 OD's nearly covers all the sounds I hear from Tim.

I am not a distortion bass player, I use to play blues, folk, jazz... but, just a minute ago, I've given a try to a distortion on the Hx and I've played Bombtrack :woot:

I am curious about that preset in HxFx... Octaver custom? Maybe I'm a what?

I've gotten into the habit of using my IR block to put the name of the song
for each preset, since I'm always using cab IR's. That way I can just look down
and know I'm on the right preset for the song we're about to play.

I happened to be on "Maybe I'm A Leo" (when I took the pic), -
a Deep Purple song we do.
The Deep Purple version of that song has big dirty keys on it played by the
late great Jon Lord, we don't have a keys player so I try to cover it on bass
with an octave effect (kinda:).
The OCTAVER custom is the legacy bass octave in that block twice.
The first has the dry all the way up and the octave all the way down,
the second on a parallel path has the dry all the way down and the
octave all the way up and reversed polarity.
I got the idea from somebody here on TalkBass, it works really well and
to me sounds a little more OC-2ish.

Deep Purple -Machine Head -Maybe I'm A Leo-

Hey @bassicsax, that's a lot of Stomp-ing going on! Any issues at all with the Sweet Foot PS and the Stomp? I have a Stomp and I've been looking around everywhere for a PS that'll run it (which seems impossible to find) as well as a G10S wireless, and based on the specs this one might just work!

No issues at all powering the stomp. I had to put taller feet on the board for it to fit under, but it works like a champ... plus it was only $109...

There are Deep Purple songs that aren't "Smoke on the Water"?

Swapped out a Boss MS-3 for the MD-500. Less effects, but the sound from the MD-500 is much more full and dynamic. Also added the Catalinbread SFT for an always on, very mild overdrive when I dig in. The MXR Bass Preamp to fine tune the sound. Everything flat on my amp.
Nice, I use a Fairfield Modele B into an M81 for the same purpose. I bet that works just as well.

Cioks to me is the real deal. I own a Cioks Ciokolate and I can power pretty much everything with it, from old 24v EHX pedals to 1A devices, even those running AC.

For those that don't know, Cioks is pronounced like 'chalks' (rhymes with 'walks'). Poul Ciok is the owner of the company, located in Denmark. So, Ciokolate (as in the power supply) is pronounced 'chocolate' (chalk-oh-lot).

Update!

Pedalboard.jpg

Earthquaker Westwood
Electro Harmonix Bass Mono Synth
---Expression Pedal for EHX
Line 6 HXStomp w/Mosky 2 button switch
Cioks DC7

I usually use switches 1 and 2 on the HXS as Preset Up/Down, then switches 3 and 4 for on/off effects and 5 for the tuner.

I can get a very similar overdrive on switch 3 using the KWB block so I might be swapping out the Westwood for a fuzz.

Does the Mosky work well with the Stomp? I had the impression that it was only momentary switch.
