Show me your compact pedalboard setup

This mini board is everything. It plays itself like a modular synth. Totally nuts. Who still plays bass anyway...

Obvious enhancement...

View attachment 3556270 View attachment 3556271 View attachment 3556272 Update on my last update - under-board cable management reconfig to accommodate power.

At this point it still feels a bit inelegant, the 3-way 1.5 foot extension is too heavy duty, the cable is too thick to bend nicely. I may replace it with a 1.5' 3-way powerstrip (1' was too short). My OCD has been pacified for now.....

At least the power for the GlowPlug (15v) and TC Chorus (AC) is sorted for now without going external.

(Edit: Note most of those are not my settings, the knobs got moved during the process)

@DDXdesign - FYI
Woo yellow boards unite! Yours has way less cable holes than mine though, older unit I guess? I am not usually a big fan of 2-row or even tiered boards because of the tapdancing/careful reaching but it's manageable since I only have to reach back there to use the tuner and to turn on and off the fuzz on the preamp which is right on the corner.

I was thinking a similar thing for power since my 360 preamp takes 24V but 1 my milkbox is in the space a nice isolated PS would go, and 2 a little surge protector would be way more economical than any PS with 24V on tap would be...

Depends on what is considered "older" in Accel world - I got mine in the beginning of the year, and I noticed yours has more holes, which is more convenient. And probably a bit lighter, which would be a blessing.

When did you get yours?

Stay tuned as I just ordered an alternate cable and will rewire the board when it arrives, that yellow cable is just overkill.

I got mine like the day before I posted, so just a couple weeks back?

Now I see I violated my OCD with some poor Double-Lock trimming....

Do you run your signal through oc2 at all times? I.e. do you not split it out of the chain to prevent loss while passing through boss? I have this dilemma when considering OC2 for compact board

It is a very good question. It's been bugging me since I added the SV-Pre and GlowPlug to the board a few weeks ago.

What's not on my board currently is my Radial Twin City ABY, which I got for two reasons -
- to split the signal to go to two amps in parallel
- to route the signal path from the more critical devices (Compressor, Preamp(s), HPF) around the more noisy, less used, non-true bypass pedals like Octaver, Synth, Reverb/Delay)

My current configuration has a few issues, one is the signal path is not ideal, the other is I've run out of board real estate for the ABY for this kind of routing. And it's heavy....and it's not really compact.

The Radial is a very good pedal, since getting that some other interesting pedals have come out including an EHX among others which have more routing capabilities, and seem smaller and lighter.

I've been thinking to get a smaller, dedicated board for the Octave, SYB-3, and Reverb pedals and dedicating the main board for tone devices.

In the meantime, if I'm honest I'll admit that I'm not quite sure how best to route around the Octaver. Very open to suggestion on that and signal path in general.

Get an LS2. Run the OC2 in parallel. If you juggle things around you should be able to fit one.
