Show me your compact pedalboard setup

so wait....you can power a DC 4 w a DC7? Can I power a DC4 with a ciokolate? Where can I learn more about powering one supply with another?

Yes, There’s a 24v port on the dc7 that will power the dc4.
Same idea as a strymon Zuma powering an Ojai.
Actually, I think you could power the dc4 with a Zuma also.
I’m not familiar with the chocolate’s capabilities, but the clocks website should have that info.
Oh, also you can power the dc4 with a usb cable with the correct tip(maybe a micro usb on one end I think?)

Cioks DC7 has a 24v aux power out to feed into the Cioks 4 or Cioks 8 via a jumper cable.

I don’t think the Ciokolate has the 24v output, and other Cioks don’t have the right input for the jumper cable to feed into, other than the 4 and 8.

I own a Ciokolate. No you can't do that, but if you have a Ciokolate and you still need more outputs/more power "combinations" then you really need a Cioks Overkill (OR, a DC7 with daisy-chained outputs)

The great thing of Cioks is that you can use cables to sum either voltage or current from two (or more, with multiple connections) outlets, boosting/doubling the voltage of an outlet, and connect virtually every pedal around (even the old EHX at 24v and 40v, even those with those stranged pronged plugs).

The only pedal I was not able to power with my CIokolate was a Mesa Bottle Rocket, as it needed too much AC power and the guys at Cioks strongly discouraged me using a cable to use the two AC outlets together.

That Overkill is so... overkill!
But I really like it. Would love to have one at home.

Holy crap!

I didn’t know the Overkill existed! Thought the Ciokolate was their largest!

Re did my board a while back. Sold almost all my my old pedals and built this. I’ve spent most of my time with the psa 2.0 and now I’m doing a deep dive into the ms-3, anyone else have one? I’m mainly using the onboard chorus, phaser, flanger, and octave. But I’m pretty new to these effects in general and haven’t been totally happy with my results. This thing has a ton of parameters and I feel like it’s easy to tweak things to the point of no return.

Quickly put this one together around noon today >

Took the bigger one out for a spin last night at our rehearsal/prax rental space that's real close to home. Disinfected the joint good, though I don't think it was ever infected.

Can't wait till the whole band(s) is(are) able to get together in the same room again! :bawl: I'm positive both of these boards will be rearranged at least once by then

What are the effects included in the Boss MS-3?

Quickly put this one together around noon today using some temporarily benched boxes to go join my lap steel playing bestie in his mostly well quarantined home studio >

Sigh...I get it, it sucks to be home, but if you are going to break the rules and cruise around town unnecessarily, don't post about it. You may think it is no big deal, but the more that people cruise around thinking "what its no big deal, we are being safe" the longer this will last and the longer before the band can actually get back together. You need to go get groceries, or medicines, I get it (even that I don't get since all that can be delivered, but I digress)...but going from place to place for a "song smoothing session", interacting w people who may or may not be quarantining, you are just acting as an agent of spread. It isn't about you getting sick (though that's a real probability - and right about now is probably the absolute worse time in our lives to need a doctor), it's about who you can infect...and it's about looking out for your local healthcare workers putting their lives on the line to deal with this situation. I'd imagine that someone in Seattle would understand the situation being that you were the first hot spot in the country? Stop being so selfish, now is not the time to get together with friends in person, especially for such flippant BS as a "song smoothing session" - you realize that there will be NO gigs for months if not more than a year?

Check out Jamkazam, you can jam with your friends over the internet and not need to open doors and move equipment around...or do a "song smoothing session" over skype/zoom/facetime/even a phone call. Show some respect to your community and to the human race...sit still for a few weeks. Work on your solo material or your technique, but stop cruising around for such selfish reasons.
