Show me your compact pedalboard setup

"Small" board with contrasting giant and tiny pedals. Source Audio C4 could maybe replace the SubnUp but otherwise it is all I need.

How do you like the Edison? What role does it play in your sound? Thank you.
I like it so much I bought 2. It adds a slight bit of compression, but the main attraction for me is the clean tube feel. It adds a little life to a solid state rig. I had really been missing a tube amp and contemplating going old school again, but now I’m content and satisfied. My back is also thanking me for not going heavy.

So I understand you dont use it for overdrive...correct?

I was just contemplating getting an Iron Horse. How do you like it?
I was contemplating a tuner & power supply when I stubbled across the iron horse in the tb classifieds. It was a relatively inexpensive experiment I thought. If you don’t need more than 500ma of 9v, it’s amazing. Love it! And it’s extremely hard for me to love a tuner or power supply.

I am wondering how this would work. I like my TC Mini 3 but the power plug is on the side on my already crowded board, it sticks out and is just an accident waiting to happen. The D'Addario is also top-mounted power but has quite mixed reviews, and, the Iron Horse can power other pedals.

Just wondering how to power this from a power block, what kind of port would it need, and how it can effectively power other pedals.

The iron horse has 9v ports on both sides to power other pedals. It comes with a wall wart to power it from the top. If you wanted to power the iron horse from another power supply, I would have to check out the manual when I get home to see what the specs are on that.

The iron horse takes 12v dc.

Does anyone use a Cioks 4 as your only power, and if so, how do you power it?

I know it's really made as a Cioks 7 extension and that's how it's intended to be powered.

My board's power block has a 150W AC Output.

There's two versions of the Cioks 4, one that comes with a cable that connects to the 24v extension port of the DC7 and one that comes with an AC adapter to be used as a standalone power supply.

Yes I do. They come with 2 options now. With their own power supply, or without as an extension. I purchased mine to use by itself before Cioks were supplying them with a power supply. To get the maximum output from the Cioks 4 it needs to receive 36 Watts. Watts = Volts x Amps.

I purchased a 24V DC 1.5A Power supply and I run my Cioks 4 with that.

Such a great little compact power supply. I run one under my homemade Nano to power a LA-1A, Sushi Box Particle Accelerator, and Tuner and it's really quiet. I tried running my Aguilar Board with the Cioks 4 yesterday and I didn't really think that board was noisy with a one spot, but it was noticeably quieter with the Cioks 4. Looks like I will be getting another one...
