Show me your compact pedalboard setup

This will be coming out with me tomorrow morning for an early morning men’s group.
The Bassist is new, replacing a Spectracomp. I’m undecided whether to put drive before or after the comp, so why not both?
I’ll be using the Q Strip into a PA, no amp.
Everything on a small On Stage board and powered by a One Spot.

Nice! My OCD overload indicator is close to zero. +1, for the Keeley.

Longshot here but does anyone remember a website, which I saw a few times a couple years ago, which showed comparisons of pedalboard sizes overlaid on each other? It was a European site, maybe from Finland, I really can't remember, but it was quite handy.

So far my Google skills aren't working so well but I'll keep trying in the meantime.

Am trying to find a board to scale down from my Accel XTA 15.

While I like the Nano+, it's slightly too narrow for what I want and the the Nano Max is too wide. Am trying to find something in between with either a nice soft case like their new MX, or a hard case.

The Rockboard DUO 2.1 is nice but also too narrow at 18 1/2".

I switch things up, but usually end up going back to this configuration. It just sounds good. Oh, I found a patch cable company in Canada that I had not heard of before, TourGearDesigns (Flat Patch Cables Or Guitar Pedalboard Cables Online | TourGearDesigns). I really like their cables. The smaller connector size and variety of sizes lets you get a much tighter fit of pedals on board. In the case of this board I was able to use the full size TurboTuner instead of the mini. Does it matter? Probably not, but the larger display is easier to read on stage, so that's worth it for me.

I prefer a full sized tuner if I can get away with it. Just much more functional.

but I put it at the end of the chain as a mute so that I can adjust pedals and cables without spikes.

That's a purdy board ya gotz there...!

I think I'm going to get a HX Effects and make that my main effects unit. I rarely need effects, but when I do, the HX would cover everything. So, just run it in front of this board. Note: it may work, but the HX Effects pushes the max amperage of the Noble, so use the included power supply. (Just an FYI to anyone reading this from a web search)

Just added a Benson Preamp clone to my board last night. Loving it so far, but just finished it last night. One question: when the gain is all the way down, I get no sound no matter how loud the volume is. You need at least a little gain to get some volume. Is that normal?

Also, the treble and bass are both HPF/LPF that cut. What does that mean? Does it mean that it cuts bass when I turn it up? OR do if I have it all the way up, it lets all the bass through?

I'll take a guess here...

Gain staging...your gain is the first stage and the second stage is the Master. (Low gain low distortion, high gain potentially more distortion in the signal) Master level is output based on the final signal leaving the box.

HPF (low end cut being set by that control. Anything (sub freq.) below the set point is eliminated.)
LPF (high end cut being set by that control. Anything (noise) above the set point is eliminated.)

HX Stomp + Mini Exp Pedal + MC3 for additional control.

Powered by CIOKS4 over USB-C, either battery or laptop charger.

Usually paired with a compact bass, 32” headless status streamline.

whole thing (bass + pedalboard) fits in an electric guitar gig bag.

Love it. I, too, run a small board with USB and battery involvement. It’s great because I can charge my wireless units and Bluetooth speaker (“practice amp”) and even my phone and iPad on the way to play, and I’ll still have about 7hrs of pedalboard power in my Anker battery bank

So I finally got some flat patch cables and was able to fit an extra pedal on my board. I’m very happy with this little pedalboard. Simple and effective.

That is very satisfyingly tidy - great job! I've always thought about making several smaller boards, one per manufacturer, to kind of present their own "best-of" features. I'd also probably put a Peterson on each one - it's the best tuner I've ever had, going all the way back to the big blue "kickstand" Peterson one I had a long time ago.
